About
Ahi Kaa Collective
Keeping the Fires of Connection Burning
Ahi Kaa Collective was created from a desire to help our whānau reconnect with themselves, their wellbeing and the wisdom carried through our whakapapa.
The name Ahi Kaa speaks to keeping the home fires burning — maintaining connection, presence and mana. This meaning lives within everything we create.
Our products are more than something you apply to the skin. They are made to become part of your everyday rituals: nurturing the tinana, calming the wairua and creating intentional moments of connection for you and your whānau.
Our Point of Difference
Ahi Kaa Collective brings together Rongoā Māori-inspired wisdom, carefully considered ingredients and practical everyday care.
While many wellness products focus only on the physical body, our approach recognises that true wellbeing is holistic. We care for the skin while also creating space for grounding, protection, restoration and connection.
Every balm, oil, pito drop and purea spray is created with a purpose. Each product carries its own intention and is accompanied by guidance to help you understand how it can support your daily routine.
You are not simply purchasing a product — you are bringing a meaningful wellbeing ritual into your whare.
Why Whānau Choose Ahi Kaa
Rooted in Māori values
Our brand is guided by whakapapa, mātauranga Māori and the understanding that our wellbeing is connected to our tinana, hinengaro, wairua, whenua and whānau.
Created with intention
Every product has a clear purpose. Whether it is supporting pēpi care, nourishing sensitive skin, encouraging rest or creating a moment of restoration, intention sits at the heart of each formulation.
Made for everyday whānau life
Wellbeing does not need to feel clinical or complicated. Our products are designed to fit naturally into simple routines such as bathing pēpi, changing nappies, preparing for sleep, beginning the day or taking a quiet moment for yourself.
Care for tinana and wairua
Our products offer physical nourishment while encouraging calm, connection and emotional wellbeing. They remind us to slow down, breathe and care for ourselves with aroha.
Gentle, purposeful formulations
We thoughtfully select ingredients for the role they play within each product. Our pēpi range is created with the delicate needs of our precious pēpi in mind, while our wider collection supports wāhine, tāne and whānau through different stages of life.

More Than Skincare
We believe the way a product makes you feel is just as important as what it does.
Applying a balm can become a moment of aroha. Spraying a purea can help set the intention for your whare. Anointing the pito can become a time for connection, reflection and remembrance.
These small rituals help us return to ourselves and keep our own ahi burning.
Our Promise
Ahi Kaa Collective is committed to creating purposeful products that honour connection, support whānau wellbeing and make meaningful care accessible within everyday life.
We continue to learn, create and share with humility. Everything we offer is made with aroha and with the hope that, in every drop, spray and application, you feel a deeper connection to yourself, your whānau and your whakapapa.
Ahi Kaa Collective — purposeful care for tinana, wairua and whānau.

My name is Kamira Te Rangi. I am deeply passionate about the taiao and its gifts. I cherish walking in the Ngahere, especially in Ōmanawa, where the rākau and manu guide me along the path of my tupuna. My approach to Rongoā is unique, reflecting my own journey, as everyone their own path and kōrero. I hold a diploma in Rongoā Māori, a Level 2 certification in Yoga, facilitated meditation and breathwork sessions, and I am also a hairdresser. I believe in tūhononga and we cross paths for that reason so nau mai e te iwi ki Ahikaa Collective.
